Clinical Pilates
WHAT IS CLINICAL PILATES?
Clinical Pilates is a form of physical exercise that focuses on posture, core stability, balance, control, strength, flexibility and breathing. It is often used in conjunction with Physiotherapy and can help you rehabilitate following an injury or surgery.
It differs from a regular Pilates classes you may undertake in a gym by taking a personalised approach to treatment. Clinical Pilates will take into consideration your specific injury and limitations in creating a tailored exercise program that is most suitable to you. This will prevent further injury and ensure a fast and safe recovery to full physical capacity.
Everyone can benefit from Clinical Pilates, but it particularly effective in the management of Chronic Low Back Pain.
